| Cae
Besi, a Grade II Listed building, is a large Welsh stone
house built in the 1920s for Alvin Langdon Coburn,
the father of modern photography. Situated in the Snowdonia National
Park, it has two spacious self-contained apartments, both with separate
entrances. The house stands in its own terraced gardens, with both
apartments affording spectacular sea views of Tremadog Bay and the
Llyn Peninsular beyond.
Situated
on the outskirts of Harlech, the location of a world heritage castle,
Cae Besi is within ten minutes walk of a good selection
of shops, cafes and restaurants, and just five minutes away from
an indoor swimming pool and a theatre and cinema.
The house overlooks the Royal St David's Link Golf Course and miles
of sandy beaches. And within easy driving distance are the Ffestiniog
and Tal y Llyn railways, the Italianate village of Portmeirion and
many other tourist attractions and sight-seeing opportunities. What's
more, Adventure Activities can be arranged during
your stay at Cae Besi. For more information please visit www.outdooradventureactivities.com. And needless to say, the surrounding North Wales
countryside is a walkers paradise.
